Influence of cationic gemini and conventional CTAB on the interaction of [Cr(III)-Gly-Tyr]2+ complex with ninhydrin

- Ninhydrin is used to identify amino acids/peptides.
- Geminis provide much better catalyzing effect than counterpart CTAB.
- Use of the smaller amount of geminis suggests less environmental impact.
