The interaction, stability and response to an external stimulus of iron oxide nanoparticle-casein nanocomplexes

► We demonstrate a simple method to produce response stimuli nanocomplexes. ► These nanocomplexes reversibly self-assemble. ► Nanoparticles treated with milk protein are found to be more hydrophobic. ► Interesting applications in controlled release drug delivery.
