Advective flow of non-homogeneous permeable sphere in an electrical field

► We model advective flow in permeable spheres of radially varying permeability. ► Effects of electroosmosis flow induced by electrical filed are presented. ► Radially varying sphere has stronger electroosmotic flow relative to homogeneous sphere. ► Large primary particles size enhances intra-sphere electroosmotic flow. ► Strong electroosmosis flow leads to high drag force on sphere.
