Liquid marbles stabilized by graphite particles from aqueous surfactant solutions

► Graphite micropowder was used to form liquid marbles using aqueous SDS droplets. ► Evaporation rate and buckling periods of these marbles were determined in a cell. ► SDS adsorption effects on the formation, buckling of these marbles are discussed.
