Comparison of coronary plaque subtypes in male and female patients using 320-row MDCTA

► Determination of non-calcified plaque burden in male and female CAD patients. ► Males had ↑ plaque volume in major coronary arteries in non-obstructive CAD patients. ► Left coronary system had ↑fibrous and fatty plaque in male non-obstructive patients. ► Right coronary vessel had more fibrous plaque in male non-obstructive patients. ► In obstructive patients, Plaque volume or subtypes were not different in both gender.
