Synthesis, characterization, and mineralization of polyamide-6/calcium lactate composite nanofibers for bone tissue engineering

► Core-shell electrospun polyamide-6/LA composite fiber is prepared. ► Surface LA is simply converted into calcium lactate by acid base reaction. ► Obtained scaffold showed superior biocompatibility compared to the pristine one.
