Cognitive-behavioral therapy for depression in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy: A pilot study

► A specific-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy program was used to treat depression in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy. ► Participants showed a significant decrease in depressive symptoms. ► Significant improvement in quality of life was reported. ► Most of the participants had drug-resistant and difficult-to-control epilepsy.
