Individually tailored extratemporal epilepsy surgery in children: Anatomo-electro-clinical features and outcome predictors in a population of 53 cases

► Surgical outcome in ETLE surgery in children can be excellent. ► Short duration of epilepsy correlates significantly to a favorable postoperative seizure outcome. ► Absence of ictal bi-hemispheric diffusion and localized rhythmic patterns on EEG/SEEG correlate to a good outcome. ► APOS might represent an immediate post-operative correlate of residual epileptogenicity.
