One-year seizure prognosis in epilepsy patients treated with antidepressants

► Seizure frequency after taking antidepressants was studied retrospectively. ► Seizure frequency did not differ between 121 patients who did and 300 who did not take antidepressants. ► Type of antidepressant and other clinical conditions were not associated with the results. ► Most antidepressants can be used safely by patients treated with antiepileptic drugs.
