Reinforcing properties of Pramipexole in normal and parkinsonian rats

► The D2/3 dopamine agonist Pramipexole possesses reinforcing properties. ► Parkinson-like dopaminergic loss does not modify these reinforcing properties. ► Both sham and lesioned groups feature high-responders. ► Differential vulnerability among patients may underlie side effects of D2/3 agonists.
