Inheritance mode, cross-resistance and realized heritability of pyriproxyfen resistance in a field strain of Musca domestica L. (Diptera: Muscidae)

After 30 generations of selection in the laboratory, a field collected population of Musca domestica developed 206-fold resistance to pyriproxyfen compared with the susceptible population. The resistance was autosomal, completely dominant and controlled by multiple genes.
