Anti-Trichinella IgG in ethnic minorities living in Trichinella-endemic areas in northwest Vietnam: Study of the predictive value of selected clinical signs and symptoms for the diagnosis of trichinellosis

In northwest Vietnam, ethnic minorities practice traditional pig production characterised by free roaming of their animals; this makes the pigs more at risk for infection with zoonotic parasites, including Trichinella spp.
