Evaluation of the mosquitocidal effect of Birbira (Mellitia ferruginea) seed extract against Anopheles arabiensis (Diptera: Culicidae) from Ethiopia

- Seed extract of Mellitia ferruginea was evaluated for mosquitocidal effect.
- LC/LD values that are able to kill 99% at all stages of mosquito are identified.
- The seed extract could be used to apply in mosquito breeding sites.
- The seed extract also could be used for indoor residual spray.
