Contrasting associations of polymorphisms in FcγRIIa and DC-SIGN with the clinical presentation of dengue infection in a Mexican population

- A SNP in FcγRIIa is associated with susceptibility to severe dengue.
- The same allele is associated with resistance in other countries.
- A SNP in DC-SIGN associated with dengue in Asia is very rare in Mexico.
