Impact of road networks on the distribution of dengue fever cases in Trinidad, West Indies

► The distances from dengue cases to the nearest road category is investigated. ► Most dengue cases were observed around class 3 and class 4 roads. ► A significant relationship between distance from roads and dengue cases was observed. ► Most DHF cases were found away from forested areas.
