Proteomics analysis of differentially expressed proteins in schistosomula and adult worms of Schistosoma japonicum

► We separated soluble and hydrophobic proteins extracted from eggs, cercariae, schistosomula and adult. ► We successfully identified 22 differential spots from schistosomula and 11 differential spots from adult schistosomes. ► Differential proteins from schistosomula were mainly in cellular metabolic processes, stress response, developmental process. ► Differential proteins from adult schistosomes were mainly in gene expression and protein metabolism processes.
