Evaluation of commercial products for personal protection against mosquitoes

► Seven personal products/devices were tested for repellency against mosquitoes. ► Essential oil-based wristbands, sticker, vitamin-B1 patch, and sonic device were not repellent. ► OFF!® Clip-On™ Mosquito Repellent diffuser reduced biting pressure on arms and legs by over 90%. ► Terminix® ALLCLEAR® Sidekick diffuser reduced biting on arms and legs by over 90% and 80% respectively. ► OFF!® Clip-On™ Mosquito Repellent and Terminix® ALLCLEAR® Sidekick reduced bites by both Aedes albopictus and Culex pipiens.
