Pyrethroid resistance in Anopheles gambiae from the rubber cultivated area of Niete, South Region of Cameroon

► Anopheles gambiae from Niete are fully susceptible to bendiocarb and malathion. ► There is widespread resistance to DDT in agro-industrial areas in Cameroon. ► Resistance was observed to all four pyrethroids insecticides used in the study. ► Kdr mutation (L1014F) was found and not restricted only to resistant mosquitoes. ► Only An. gambiae M-form was found in the study area.
