► The use of solar reactors fitted with CPCs improves the efficacy of SODIS. ► C. parvum oocysts are rendered inviable after shorter exposure times. ► These systems minimize the negative effects of turbidity during SODIS. ► This technology represents a good alternative to PET bottles for SODIS.
