Phlebotominae fauna in a recent deforested area with American Tegumentary Leishmaniasis transmission (Puerto Iguazú, Misiones, Argentina): Seasonal distribution in domestic and peridomestic environments

► We studied the temporal dynamics of phlebotomine in domicile and pigsties in a deforested area. ► Nyssomyia whitmani dominated the community followed by Migonemyia migonei. ► Phlebotomine were more abundant in the pigsties. ► Abundance in domicile and pigsties were associated positively. ► Positive associations between temperature and precipitation and both phlebotomine were observed.
