Laboratory wash-resistance and field evaluation of deltamethrin incorporated long-lasting polyethylene netting (Netprotect®) against malaria transmission in Assam, north-east India

► Netprotect(r) LLIN was observed to wash-resistant to multiple serial washings. ► There was a consistent decline in malarial cases in the Netprotect(r) LLIN villages. ► Netprotect(r) LLIN was concluded to be feasible intervention against malaria.
