Activity of some hypocrealean fungi collected in a Cerrado ecosystem against Rhodnius spp. (Hemiptera: Reduviidae) under laboratory conditions

► Rhodnius spp. are susceptible to infection with entomopathogenic L. psalliotae, P. lilacinus and P. chlamydosporia. ► These fungi recycle on Rhodnius cadavers. ► First report of activity of L. psalliotae, P. lilacinus and P. chlamydosporia against Rhodnius spp. ► Findings underline interest of fungi for integrated control of Chagas disease vectors.
