Prevalence and genotype characterization of Human Papillomaviruses among HIV-seropositive in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso

▶ The prevalence of HPV in the screened women was 59.6%. ▶ HPV-50′S, HPV-18 and HPV-30′S were the most common genotypes identified with following prevalence: 25.5%, 25.0% and 20.8%, respectively ▶ The available vaccines Gardasil and Cervarix do not cover the most common genotypes HPV-50′S and HPV-30′S.
