Determination of EBV serostatus prior to kidney transplantation: Comparison of VIDAS®, LIAISON® and immunofluorescence assays

The VIDAS® and LIAISON® approaches gave similar results. Such automated random access EIAs are well suited to busy clinical virology laboratories and rapid determination of donor and recipient EBV serostatus prior to transplantation.
