Detection of mink enteritis virus by loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP)

► Mink enteritis virus (MEV) is a major threat to the health of mink. ► Mink enteritis virus LAMP was used for the detection of the genomic DNA. ► Compared to PCR, the LAMP is ∼100-fold more sensitive for detecting MEV DNA. ► LAMP is potentially a useful and powerful method for the diagnosis of MEV in field veterinary clinics.
