Analytical performance of RNA isolated from BD SurePath™ cervical cytology specimens by the PreTect™ HPV-Proofer assay

► RNA isolated from BD SurePath™ LBC is compatible with the ancillary PreTect™ HPV-Proofer assay. ► RNA was found to be stable for a minimum of 21 days when stored at ambient temperature. ► RNA displayed high reproducibility for the HPV types detected by the PreTect™ HPV-Proofer assay. ► HPV infection prevalence rate of HPV types in our cohort was consistent with published reports.
