Reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification of RNA for sensitive and rapid detection of southern rice black-streaked dwarf virus

► We develop a new RT-LAMP assay for sensitive and rapid detection of SRBSDV. ► The new method exhibit 10-fold higher sensitivity than RT-PCR. ► This method demonstrate a high degree of specificity for SRBSDV. ► This method could be a useful tool for forecasting and controlling SRBSDV disease.
