Immunogenic characterization and epitope mapping of transmissible gastroenteritis virus RNA dependent RNA polymerase

► Six TGEV RdRp mAbs have been generated and characterized. ► These mAbs efficiently recognize the RdRp by immunofluorescence and Western blot. ► Four physically close linear epitopes are recognized by these mAbs. ► Epitopes are located in a 62 aa region at the N-terminal domain of RdRp. ► The epitope recognized by mAb 4D10 is highly conserved in coronaviruses.
