Real-time RT-PCR for detection of Raspberry bushy dwarf virus, Raspberry leaf mottle virus and characterizing synergistic interactions in mixed infections

► Two TaqMan-assays were developed for detection of two important raspberry viruses. ► Each assay showed to be significantly more sensitive than conventional RT-PCR. ► Different virus isolates were detected by each assay. ► A new synergistic interaction was identified in infections containing RBDV and RLMV.
