Comparative analysis of gastric bacterial microbiota in Mongolian gerbils after long-term infection with Helicobacter pylori

► The gastric flora in Mongolian gerbils after long-term infection with Helicobacter pylori were analyzed. ► The quantitative real time PCR using genous specific 16SrDNA primers was done for the analysis. ► The composition of the gastric indiginous flora in the gerbil was disturbed by long term infection. ► The disruption of H. pylori by the changed microbiota and gastric conditions was also observed.
