Proteomic analysis of the pinworm Syphacia muris (Nematoda: Oxyuridae), a parasite of laboratory rats

► The proteome of Syphacia muris is described. ► A total of 359 proteins were accurately identified from the worms. ► Metabolic enzymes were the most abundant in the protein array of S. muris. ► Proteins involved in nucleic metabolism and cell cycle also were abundantly detected. ► The knowledge of the proteome is beneficial for studying biology of S. muris.
