Rana grylio virus as a vector for foreign gene expression in fish cells

► Two recombinants of RGV named ΔTK-RGV and Δ53R-RGV expressing EGFP were constructed and analyzed in EPC cells. ► ΔTK-RGV was purified by seven successive rounds of plaque isolation. ► The infection with ΔK-RGV and wild-type RGV are similar. ► We demonstrated that RGV can be used as a viral vector for foreign gene expression in fish cell.
