Ion channels and ionotropic receptors in human embryonic stem cell derived neural progenitors

▶Ionotropic receptor profiles of neural progenitors were determined in this study. ▶The effects of bFGF on ionotropic receptor expression was compared. ▶Human neural progenitors were determined to be able to spontaneously fire. ▶Human neural progenitors and their derivates express various receptors as would be expected in neurons.
