Attention deficit induced by blockade of N-methyl d-aspartate receptors in the prefrontal cortex is associated with enhanced glutamate release and cAMP response element binding protein phosphorylation: role of metabotropic glutamate receptors 2/3
چکیده انگلیسی
▶Blockade of NMDA receptor in the prefrontal cortex cause attention deficit, increased glutamate release and CREB phosphorylation in the PFC. ▶These effects are prevented by activation of mGlu2/3 receptors. ▶Modulation of glutamate release and CREB phosphorylation are implicated in the control of attention.
