Spatial distribution and inter-year variation of hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD) and tris-(2,3-dibromopropyl) isocyanurate (TBC) in farm soils at a peri-urban region

► HBCD and TBC were detected in peri-urban farm soils in southeastern Beijing. ► Higher soil levels were found in the year 2011 compared to 2010 for both BFRs. ► No significant differences were found among different irrigation sources.
