Aluminum can induce alterations in the cellular localization and expression of three major nucleolar proteins in root tip cells of Allium cepa var. agrogarum L.

► Al induce nucleolar materials extruded from nucleolus into nucleoplasm and cytoplasm. ► The materials include nucleolar proteins: nucleophosmin, nucleolin and fibrillarin. ► Al induce over-expression of the three major nucleolar proteins in root tip cells of A. cepa.
