Salicylic acid involved in the regulation of nutrient elements uptake and oxidative stress in Vallisneria natans (Lour.) Hara under Pb stress

► SA disturbs the nutrient balance and oxidation-reduction status in Vallisneria natans. ► SA decreases the Pb uptake and partially inhibit Pb-induced the nutrient imbalance. ► SA partially inhibits the Pb-induced ROS production and oxidative stress. ► SA has important role in Vallisneria natans in response to Pb stress.
