Hydractinia echinata test system. II. SAR toxicity study of some anilide derivatives of Naphthol-AS type

► Naphthol-AS derivative toxicity was studied by the Hydractinia echinata test system. ► The possible enzymatic hydrolysis mechanism of these compounds was discussed. ► Compound substituents can influence the hydrolysis rate. ► The degradation speed of low toxic compounds is slower. ► Hydractinia echinata can be used as practical method for toxicity assays.
