Development of a clusterwise-linear-regression-based forecasting system for characterizing DNAPL dissolution behaviors in porous media

► We simulate the dissolution and transport behaviors of DNAPL in porous media. ► We develop a CLR-based forecasting system as a proxy of the simulation model. ► CLR model is examined compared with ANN and MLR models. ► The developed system can predict DNAPL concentrations with acceptable error levels.
