C-curve: A novel 3D graphical representation of DNA sequence based on codons

► We propose a 3D graphical representation of DNA based on codons and we call it C-curve. ► This model allows direct inspection of compositions of codons in DNA sequences. ► This model can be used to denote global and local information of DNA sequences. ► Based on C-curve, we give two numerical representations for analysis of DNA sequences.
