Existence, multiplicity and stability of endemic states for an age-structured S-I epidemic model

► An S-I epidemic model in an age-structured population, with disease induced mortality, is proposed. ► Existence, uniqueness and multiplicity of endemic equilibria are discussed. ► The stability of the endemic equilibria is analysed and Hopf bifurcations are shown.
