Artificial neural network analysis of lipase-catalyzed synthesis of sugar alcohol ester

▶ Good generalization performance of the ANN model and capability to predict the conversion. ▶ A high conversion of xylitol palmitate was predicted and achieved by applying the ANN approach. ▶ The best network was trained by Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm consisting two hidden layers.
