Short rotation willow coppice biomass as an industrial and energy feedstock

▶ The yield of five new cultivars of willow and their chemical composition. ▶ Tur cultivar has the highest productivity and the highest cellulose:lignin ratio. ▶ The highest yield of biomass was achieved in three-year harvest cycle. ▶ As the harvest cycle was extended, the biomass quality improved.
