Isolation of a novel leguminous lysozyme and study on the antifungal activity

► We purify a leguminous lysozyme with a molecular mass of 15.6 kDa. ► We determine the N-terminal amino acid sequences of lysozyme. ► The purified lysozyme exerted antifungal activity.
