Geochronological and geochemical study of the Darbut Ophiolitic Complex in the West Junggar (NW China): Implications for petrogenesis and tectonic evolution

► The zircon U-Pb age of 391 Ma was obtained for the Darbut Ophiolitic Complex in the West Junggar. ► The volcanic rocks were derived from a slightly metasomatized depleted mantle source. ► The Darbut Ophiolitic Complex was generated in a back-arc basin setting with northwestward subduction.
