Campano-Maastrichtian foraminifera from onshore sediments in the Rio del Rey Basin, Southwest Cameroon

► Unlike previous publications, this has proven that the basin is not exclusively Tertiary. ► Established a regional correlation of Campano-Maastrichtian units in the Gulf of Guinea. ► This work has improved on the general stratigraphic framework of the Basin. ► Initiate a Cretaceous foraminiferal data base and biostratigraphy for further research.
