► Temperature dependencies of photoinduced electron transfer dynamics in poly(N-vinylcarbazole) solid films doped with electron acceptors were investigated by transient absorption spectroscopy in femtosecond to microsecond time region as well as dichroism measurements. ► Femtosecond NIR transient absorption and picosecond dichroism measurements revealed that delocalization process immediately after the excitation and hole shift reaction were independent of the temperature dependence in the range of 10-295 K. ► In μs time region, the charge recombination scheme including the charge trapping/detrapping process reproduced the experimental results.
