Electrospinning of silica sub-microtubes mats with platinum nanoparticles for NO catalytic reduction

- SiO2 nanotubes with Pt were obtained by co-axial electrospinning in only one step.
- High dispersion of Pt nanoparticles was observed on the silica nanotubes walls.
- Platinum is mainly found as platinum metallic on the catalyst surface.
- The low temperature NOx SCR with C3H6 and excess of O2 was evaluated.
- High activity and total N2 selectivity were obtained with this catalyst.
