SO2 poisoning impact on the NH3-SCR reaction over a commercial Cu-SAPO-34 SCR catalyst

- A Cu-exchanged SAPO-34 was characterized before and after SO2 exposure.
- Two sulfur poisoning modes were observed: metal sulfate and ammonium bisulfate formation.
- Performance could be regained after a high temperature treatment.
