Origin of photocatalytic activity of W/N-codoped TiO2: H2 production and DFT calculation with GGAÂ +Â U

- The highest production of H2 achieved by W0.1%/N1 g-TiO2.
- The electrons transfers from Ti to the coordinated N for N doped TiO2.
- A obvious charge imbalance between W-N and N-Ti bonds formed an electric dipole.
